There is an age-old myth that says if you brush your hair 100 times a day, it will leave it soft and shiny. Although this figure is undoubtedly exaggerated, brushing your hair is still essential to keep your hair healthy and also to maintain your extensions.
As hair extension specialists, not only do we provide the essential accessories to brush your hair, but also to take care of your extensions. Discover our hairbrush range to keep your hair soft and shiny every day.
Brushing our hair is something we do several times a day. Although curly hair requires less brushing, all other hair types are shinier and softer after a once-over with a hairbrush. Brushing stimulates blood flow to the scalp and distributes oils to nourish the entire length of the hair to the tip. It also removes dead hair and skin as well as dust and pollution.
After each shampoo, you should lightly towel-dry your hair to remove excess moisture before untangling it. If your hair tangles, easily separate your hair into small sections and start by untangling from the tips to the roots. For dry hair, brush upside down, then lift your head and brush from your forehead to the back of your neck. Avoid brushing curly hair when it is dry, as the curls are likely to break. Use the scrunching method to keep the curls’ natural shape.
For gorgeous hair and strong beautiful extensions, choosing the right hairbrush is essential. You will find two types of hairbrushes online at Expert Extensions. Both hairbrushes are adapted to brushing extensions.
Our pneumatic hair brush is perfect for smoothing hair after blow drying. It will stop your hair from frizzing after blow-drying by distributing the sebum (oily substance) evenly throughout. This hairbrush is made of nylon and boar bristles and can be used on wet hair that is difficult to untangle. This type of brush is ideal for fine hair!
For hair that is hard to untangle, we also offer a pneumatic nylon hairbrush. The looped shape of the nylon bristles is specially designed to gently remove knots. This will allow you to use your hairbrush to untangle your hair extensions without damaging the attachments.
Be careful when brushing your hair and the extensions and always brush with your head held straight. If you brush with your head down, you may weaken the points where the extensions are held in place.
